Making invisible stress visible.
Dhritam Wearable Technologies is a health technology company building the world's first consumer neuro-cardiac monitoring system - a garment and headband that continuously reads your heart and brain to detect stress before you feel it.
Who we are.
Dhritam Wearable Technologies is a deep-tech health company headquartered in Gujarat, India, building at the intersection of textile engineering, autonomic neuroscience, and consumer electronics. We are not a wellness brand. We are not a meditation app. We are a biomedical signal processing company that happens to deliver its technology through clothing.
Our core technology is a garment-integrated electrocardiogram (ECG) system that captures clinical-grade cardiac electrical signals at 500Hz - the same sampling rate used in hospital Holter monitors - through dry conductive fiber electrodes woven directly into fabric. This is paired with a frontal EEG headband (Agna) that monitors cortical brainwave activity, and a proprietary Sync Engine that correlates neural and cardiac signals in real time.
The company was founded at IIT Gandhinagar and operates under the mentorship of faculty specializing in biomedical engineering, signal processing, and psychophysiology. Our provisional patent (filed March 2026, Indian Patent Office) covers 12 independent claims spanning the garment hardware pipeline, the neuro-cardiac correlation algorithm, and the adaptive binaural audio response system.
We are a team of engineers, researchers, and product designers who believe that the gap between “I feel fine” and clinical burnout should not be invisible. Our mission is to instrument the human body with the same continuous monitoring precision that industrial systems have had for decades - and to do it in a way that respects privacy, upholds scientific rigor, and serves the 400 million knowledge workers in India who are performing brilliantly on the outside while their nervous system is in crisis on the inside.
What we stand for.
Science over hype
Every feature, every claim, every metric we publish is grounded in peer-reviewed research. We don't invent health claims. We instrument validated science into accessible technology. If we can't cite it, we don't ship it.
Privacy as architecture
Local-first data storage isn't a marketing bullet point - it's a fundamental architectural constraint that shapes every engineering decision. Your physiological data never leaves your device without explicit, informed, revocable consent.
Accessibility over exclusivity
Clinical-grade cardiac monitoring has been locked inside hospitals for decades. Dhritam believes that the signal your cardiologist reads in a 24-hour Holter test should be available to you every single day - in a garment that costs less than a premium smartwatch.
India first, world ready
Designed and engineered in India for India's 400 million knowledge workers. Built to international standards - GDPR-ready architecture, ISO-aligned quality protocols, and hardware specifications that meet or exceed global clinical benchmarks.
How we got here.
2024
The Realization
The founding team identified a critical gap: high-functioning professionals exhibit chronic autonomic dysregulation that no consumer device detects. Existing wearables track fitness metrics - steps, calories, sleep duration - but none continuously monitors the autonomic nervous system's stress response.
2025
First Prototype
The engineering team built the first working ECG acquisition pipeline: dry conductive fiber electrodes woven into textile, paired with a custom BLE 5.0 transmission module. Initial signal quality exceeded 98% correlation with clinical Holter monitors across controlled testing environments.
2025
Data Validation
Over 30 consecutive days of continuous cardiac data collected from prototype garments across varied real-world conditions - office work, exercise, sleep, commute. RMSSD values independently validated against clinical benchmarks by biomedical engineering faculty.
2026
Patent Filing
Provisional patent application filed with the Indian Patent Office (March 2026) with 12 independent claims covering the garment-integrated ECG pipeline, the neuro-cardiac correlation engine, and the adaptive binaural audio response system.
2026
Institutional Backing
Development accelerated within IIT Gandhinagar's biomedical engineering ecosystem - accessing advanced signal processing laboratories, faculty mentorship in psychophysiology and autonomic neuroscience, and peer review from one of India's premier research institutions.
2026
Early Access Launch
Dhritam opens its early access program - 100 beta units for professionals who refuse to wait for their body to fail before they start listening. Early access members lock in launch pricing permanently.
